Water management platform for agriculture 2030
The project will implement pilot plots with technologies such as satellite images, field sensors and specialized software to improve irrigation management. The aim is to modernize irrigation techniques and strengthen monitoring and analysis of information at the plot and watershed level.
The project will implement pilot plots with new technological tools, such as satellite image analysis (Landsat, Sentinel, drones), field sensors (environmental, soil water availability), specific software (water delivery management), and online consultation platforms (MapServer on the Internet), which will allow obtaining information with high spatial and temporal resolution on production systems, transforming traditional irrigation management systems into high-precision systems. In this sense, the initiative proposes modernizing irrigation technologies and generating capacities for recording, real-time monitoring, and analysis of information, both at the plot (farm) and watershed levels.
