TaKaDu is a cloud-based Central Event Management (CEM) solution that enables public and private utilities to detect, analyze, and manage network events and incidents such as leaks, explosions, faulty assets, operational failures, telemetry and data issues, and more. Central Event Management (CEM) is a new category in the water sector, being a single pane of glass for all events and incidents on the network, turning raw data into knowledge through analytics, integrating information from multiple sources (IT modules and external sensing solutions), and supporting an efficient event management process. TaKaDu provides visibility and actionable insights to increase operational efficiency, improve customer service, and reduce water loss. The solution seamlessly integrates with other IT modules such as GIS (e.g. ESRI) and asset management. TaKaDu includes public and private, large and small, urban and rural water distribution utilities, all moving towards digitalization. With regard to its use in agriculture, it is efficient in that it can be implemented in any water network (conduction and distribution) and thus avoid water losses in any of the paths of the entire network.
