Digital technologies can be part of the solution, as they allow for more efficient, productive and sustainable agriculture by optimizing its processes to produce more quality food in a more sustainable way. The objective of the project is to develop a technology for measuring soil moisture that allows maximizing production, improving food quality, optimizing water use and promoting the use of technologies in agriculture. The technological solution consists of a device or sensor that allows measuring soil moisture, encapsulated, robust, low-cost and highly usable. The device is complemented by a data visualization tool that does not need an internet connection to operate. Once loaded into the browser, it can be used offline. Additionally, tutorial videos were created for installing the device, and downloading and viewing data, as well as a manual of soil moisture management practices.
