Support for Organic Production and Marketing of Medicinal Plants to Improve Income and Quality of Life of Family Farming Producers
The project has a duration of four years and aims to support the development of organic production and marketing of medicinal plants in Paraguay, with a view to improving the living conditions and income of producers in family agriculture found in the Eastern Region of the country. The intervention will be developed with the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock of Paraguay (MAG) in two stages of two years each. It is noted that during the first two years, the project will focus on influencing public policy through the effective implementation of current regulations, thus strengthening the MAG, as well as training trainers from the Ministry and other entities in organic production of medicinal plants and transferring knowledge to producers.

Objective:
To increase agricultural productivity and income of medicinal plant producers from families in the Eastern Region of the country, developed on a small scale and as part of improving the quality of life of these people.
