Agricultural innovation for the conservation of the Brazilian Amazon rainforest

The project aims to provide integrated information on the status of rural properties and products from the main production chains (initially prioritizing the beef chain, with consideration given to expanding the system to include the timber and soybean chains) to subsidize public policies and stimulate market behavior in favor of production in compliance with socio-environmental laws and regulations. It will expand existing innovative initiatives and stimulate new initiatives for traceability of product origin at the state/municipal level. It will promote socio-environmental regularization measures to regularize their status, increasing the number of establishments that comply with socio-environmental standards in their production systems.
