Empowering Tribal Women in Suriname Through Transformative Technology - Phase II

The project seeks to build on the previous phase and replicate pilot models to restore productive and resilient livelihoods for indigenous farmers involved in crop value chains in Suriname.

Objective:

Introduce and test the implementation of agricultural technologies and innovations that generate new models of primary crop production and product development through the WI Uma Fu Sranan cooperative, taking into account gender and diversity perspectives.
