Water Impact and Droughts for Investment Projects in Uruguay, Bolivia, and Chile
The challenges facing the region in terms of Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) require CAF to support the regulation, management, and allocation of water resources based on environmental sustainability criteria, as well as strengthen water governance through basin organizations or similar. It also seeks to promote efficient water use, drought management, and collaborate with the international sectoral community on hydro-diplomacy for initiatives in transboundary basins and the reduction of water-related conflicts.

To provide an analysis and characterization of droughts in three countries, through the assessment of water risks and impacts, as well as drought forecasting, for the preparation of investment projects in Uruguay, Bolivia, and Chile.
