This project will design a financial protection mechanism for productive recovery in the face of losses caused by drought. It will work with producers in the Central American dry corridor of Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador. The innovation will consist of linking the mechanism with the adoption of adaptation measures to water scarcity (as a condition of access) to promote the cultural change required to face climate change.
