Feasibility of the National Irrigation Plan in Los Ríos (IDB - IICA).
The Water Secretariat, the Government of Los Ríos and IICA established a strategic alliance to facilitate and/or complement the technical and financial cooperation of the IDB, specifically for the progressive implementation of the National Irrigation and Drainage Plan. The cooperation project includes three components: a) Specialized studies, including the development of 6 studies; b) Capacity building, including specialized studies to determine training needs; and c) Institutional innovations, including an exercise in coordination between SENAGUA and GAD Los Ríos for the formulation and management of irrigation and drainage projects within the framework of the competencies.
