IICA Technical Cooperation in Ecuador
IICA has been a key ally in Ecuador's agricultural and rural development. Its focus on areas such as small-scale family farming, sustainability, resilience to climate change, market links and technology transfer has contributed significantly to improving the quality of life of rural communities and strengthening Ecuadorian agriculture in a globally challenging context.
Objective:
Its purpose in Ecuador is to be a platform for cutting-edge technical areas aligned with the PMP 2022-2026 Programs, consolidating public/private networks and alliances and technical cooperation initiatives of excellence. Emphasis is placed on building a new generation of public policies, under technical cooperation of excellence, based on the principles of interdisciplinarity and focus.
